Master Lu Hung-Bin

We honor our teachers and our Tai Chi linage.  Master Lu was a martial arts legend, born in Wen-Tu village in Hopei province of China.  Master Lu began his martial arts training at the age of 6 learning basic stances from his grandmother. Later he studied baguazhang, hsing-yi and tai chi chuan from Cheng Hai Ting, son of Cheng Ting Hau who was the first generation of baguazhang (Pa Kua) practitioners having learned his Pa Kua from the founder Tung Hai Chuan.  He is the fourth generation student receiving the lineage of Northern Style baguazhang in an unbroken line for the founder.  The lineage of Hsing-Yi Chuan can be traced back from Cheng Hai Ting to Sung Shi-Rung and Liao Kung.  Master Lu taught a 64 Yang Style Tai Chi, Sword forms - Tai Chi single - tai chi double - board sword, a Staff and a double edge knife sets all within the internal martial arts focus.

Lu born in 1908 died in 1990.  He passed his linage of Tai Chi Chuan to Richard and Iva Peck (now residing in Texas).  Additionally, Master Lu trained Richard and Iva in Pa Kua (baguazhang) and Hsing-Yi.  Richard and Iva also learned weapons from Master Lu.

I am privilege to be a first generation student of Richard Peck with whom I have studied since 1990.

Additionally, he trained  Kent Williamson of Sweden whom Master Lu designated as his descendent in the study of Baguazhang.
