The following page will be up dated from time to time as I find or remember other text that I think may be of interest to those of you who are students to Tai Chi Chuan.

Occasionally you will find a link where you may still be able to purchase the referenced material.

CAUTION:  Tai Chi and all martial arts should be studied with a qualified teacher to assist in your progress.  We make to warranty as to the value of the material you will gain from this list - nor do we suggest that any of this material is in any way a substitute for training with a qualified instructor.  To find qualified instructors visit our Links page.

The Tao of Tai-Chi Chuan Way to Rejuvenation   Jou, Tsung Hwa    ISBN 0-8048-1357-4  Published by Tai Chi Foundation, Fifth Printing in Taiwan May 1988 - an excellent book worth the search, Mast Jou has passed on and the book to my knowledge is out of print.  If you find it buy it.  If you find two copies send me an email.

The Tao of Meditation Way to Enlightenment   Jou, Tsung Hwa   Published by Tai Chi Foundation, May 1983 - you may have some luck these first two books were at one time distributed by Charles E. Tuttle Co. Inc. Rutland Vermont 05701

The Tao of I Ching Way to Divination    Jou, Tsung Hwa  Published by Tai Chi Foundation, Winter of 1983 - this one is still out there somewhere the trilogy is worth having.

365 Tao  Deng Ming-Dao ISBN 0-06-250223-9  Published by HarperCollins Publishers, 10 East 53rd St. NY NY 10022  - this author has several other books to his credit that are interesting reading but must be taken to be done with literary license to make a point.  This version of the Daily Meditations is well done - an easy read should be at your bed side for both morning and evening reference.

T'ai-Chi Ch'uan Body and Mind in Harmony  (The integration of meaning and method)    Sophia Delza   ISBN 0-88706-029-3 hard cover 1985, 088706-030-7 (pbk)  Published by State Unv. of NY Press, Albany - Sophia Delza is one of the first westerners to bring Tai Chi to the United States.  Her students are legions and her teaching is outstanding.  She is Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan.  Good read, must have in your study of Tai Chi.

T'ai Chi Ch'uan For Health and Self-Defense   Master T.T. Liang   ISBN 0-394-72461-5  1974, 1977  Published Random House, Inc. NY.  - it is the translation of the classics that brings me back to this reference time and again.  Master Liang holds a candle up for us to see back into the past and understand what is being said.  Widely published should be easy to find - perhaps a good starting place for your collection.
